Before you join
Common questions.
- Do I need prior experience to join?
- No. Bring a problem you care about and a willingness to build. Nobody expects you to know it yet.
- How do project teams form?
- Teams form around problems. You join for the role you want to learn, not the one you already have.
- Can I bring my own problem?
- Yes. Anyone can submit a problem to the Problem Lab. Each one lists directions to explore, technologies and the roles it needs. Submit a problem
- Who can come to events?
- Sessions, workshops and build nights are open to every member, and most of them to anyone curious enough to turn up. See upcoming events
- What do I leave with?
- Something you can show. Prototypes become projects, and projects become papers, products and talks. Browse current projects
